Christine and her sons Remington and
Dillon entered the Family Promise of Acadiana program in July 2005. Christine
was a nursing student at the time,
attending Louisiana State University at Eunice. She worked diligently at
both
her studies and getting her family into housing, and with
the assistance of
Family Promise, she was successful at
both. Christine earned her degree
and is employed as a nurse with a local hospital. She and her boys have
been living on
their own for some time
now, and are
thriving. Christine enthusiastically
expresses her gratitude
to the program
and its volunteers.
